Dr. Rachel Yang
Dr. Rachel Yang is passionate about providing quality care to her patients. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry and Aesthetics program at the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry, which has helped her develop a keen eye for beauty and aesthetics.
At Smilosophy, Dr. Yang is known for her caring and compassionate approach to dentistry. She believes that every patient deserves personalized attention and care, and she takes the time to listen to their concerns and needs. Dr. Yang specializes in cosmetic dentistry, and offers a wide range of procedures such as smile makeovers, aligners, veneers, bonding, crowns, bridges, full mouth restorations; just to name a few. She views cosmetic dentistry as an art form, and her extensive training and experience have helped her develop a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Dr. Kathy Hu
Dr. Kathy Hu earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and completed her General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. Recognizing that the mouth is the gateway to the gut and closely linked to overall wellness, Dr. Hu empowers patients through education and active involvement in their care. While she prioritizes preventive dentistry, she also enjoys restorative treatments and takes pride in helping patients regain and maintain healthy, functional smiles. She is dedicated to creating a positive, comfortable experience and making a lasting impact on each patient’s long-term health.
Outside the office, Dr. Hu enjoys cross-stitching, digital design, and discovering hidden musical gems—so feel free to bring your best song recommendations to your next visit!

Henry Horstmann
Front Desk and Office Manager
Henry is a multi-talented individual who is passionate about both dentistry and opera singing. He has been working at the practice for the past year and is known for his warm and welcoming personality. When he is not greeting patients at the front desk, Henry can be found singing opera at multiple theaters. Henry is a true asset and incredible talent to the practice!
Rosemarie Petrunoff
Hygienist
Rosemarie is a NYU College of Dentistry graduate in Dental Hygiene and also holds a BS degree from St. John's University. She is a highly experienced dental hygienist who truly enjoys working with patients of all ages for positive dental experiences.
Elena Nuridjanyants
Aesthetician & Registered Nurse
Elena is a RN with more than 10 years of nursing experience at NYU. She is passionate for the well-being of her patients and their beauty! At SmileHouse, she has been providing Anti-Wrinkle Injections and IV Vitamin Drips - helping patients feel and look their best!
Gemma Ryu
Senior Dental Assistant
Ms. Ryu has a wealth of experience in the dental industry. She first started her career as a dental hygienist in South Korea for 20+ years. In the US, she has worked with renowned specialists in Periodontics and Oral Surgery as a Dental Assistant and Office Manager.
Isabella Ho
Dental Assistant & Future Dentist
Isabella Ho is a pre-dental honors student at Stony Brook University. She has over 600 hours of assisting experience and is a Discover Dental School Scholar at Stony Brook University. She is applying to dental school next year.
Jay Wang
Dental Assistant
Jay is a dental assistant who has also studied nursing in China. His experience in nursing has helped him understand the importance of providing quality care to patients, which he applies to him work as a dental assistant.
He is a very hard working and valued team member of the Smilosophy family.
